I've got a girlfriend with bows in her hair
Song clue: big suit
My predictions for the SEC and ACC continue:
Week 5 (Sept 30):
Byes: Arkansas (2-2, 1-1); Florida State (2-2, 0-2); Maryland (3-1, 0-1); North Carolina (3-1, 1-1); North Carolina State (3-1, 1-1)
No Brainers: Maine at Boston College (2-2, 0-2); Louisiana Tech at Clemson (4-0, 3-0); Virginia (3-1, 1-0) at Duke (1-2, 0-2); Central Michigan at Kentucky (1-3, 0-2); Mississippi State (1-3, 0-2) at LSU (3-1, 0-1); Houston at Miami (2-1, 0-1); Tennessee (2-2, 0-1) at Memphis; Temple at Vanderbilt (1-3, 0-2); Liberty at Wake Forest (3-1, 1-0)
Auburn (4-0, 2-0) at South Carolina (3-1, 1-1)- The Cocks will keep this one close during the first half. Auburn simply has too much talent for VisorBoy's gang... Auburn wins by twenty-ish.
Georgia (4-0, 1-0) at Ole Miss (4-0, 1-0)- I said before that I was bullish about Ole Miss this season. With that being said I don't see any upset happening here. Expect the Dawgs to bring UM back down to Earth.
ACC Game of the Week: Georgia Tech (2-2, 1-1) at Virginia Tech (3-1 1-1)- As usual I think Georgia Tech will be all over the place this season. Therefore I think they will bounce back from the UVA loss with a surprise win over their fellow Techsters.
SEC Game of the Week: Alabama (4-0, 1-0) at Florida (4-0, 2-0)- Both teams will be undefeated in this one. The Gators will be seeking revenge, and I think they will get it. The season will get a whole lot more interesting after this week.
Week 6 (Oct 7):
Byes: Boston College (3-2, 0-2); Virginia Tech (3-2, 1-2)
No Brainers: Duke (1-3, 0-3) at Alabama (4-1 , 1-1); Vanderbilt (2-3, 0-2) at Ole Miss (4-1, 1-1); West Virginia at Mississippi State (1-4, 0-3); South Carolina (3-2, 1-2) at Kentucky (2-3, 0-2); Virginia (4-1, 2-0) at East Carolina
Arkansas (2-2, 1-1) at Auburn (5-0, 3-0)- The War Eagle train will keep on rolling as they dismiss the Hogs without any problems.
Clemson (5-0, 3-0) at Wake Forest (4-1, 1-0)- At some point Clemson will falter, and though the Demon Deacons will provide a lively test... it won't be here. On Clemson!
Florida State (2-2, 0-2) at NC State (3-1, 1-1)- The Wolfpack have traditionally given the Seminoles trouble in Raleigh. Despite that I think the Seminoles will get their season back on track with a big win.
Tennessee (3-2, 0-1) at Georgia (5-0, 2-0)- Tennessee will be looking to jump back in the SEC East race. Georgia will be looking to enter the national title hunt. I think the latter will happen as the Silver Britches win by two touchdowns.
Maryland (3-1, 0-1) at Georgia Tech (3-2, 2-1)- Maryland won't have enough to stop the Yellow Jackets and their decline will begin here.
ACC Game of the Week: North Carolina (3-1, 1-1) at Miami (3-1, 1-0)- The season will get a whole lot rougher for the Tar Heels. Miami will want to start rolling on towards the ACC Championship. The Canes win this win big.
SEC Game of the Week: LSU (4-1, 1-1) at Florida (5-0, 3-0)- A loss here could see the end of LSU's SEC West bid. Florida will fight but ultimately it'll be the LSU D that delivers a win back to Baton Rouge.
